Roots in Motion: Exploring Low-Level Contact Improvisation 2 Sundays

Roots in Motion: Exploring Low-Level Contact Improvisation
This workshop focuses on low-level work and floor work within Contact Improvisation, exploring movement close to the ground. We will examine how gravity is not just a force but a shared experience that facilitates connection and collective movement.

Topics to explore:
Experiencing gravity in movement.
Techniques for fluid transitions in low-level movement.
Metaphors of roots and underground currents to deepen the practice.
Mutual attraction as a bridge for traveling together in space.

Each module includes a technical class followed by an open jam, offering a space to integrate and explore freely.

Module A: April 6
Module B: April 13
Schedule:
Class: 14:30 - 16:30
Jam: 16:30 - 17:30
