MONDAY MOTION Contemporary dance journey extended
This workshop consists of four sessions designed to deepen movement techniques and improvisation. Over these sessions, we will explore contemporary dance as a foundation for Contact Improvisation. The themes we work on individually in the contemporary dance sessions—such as 'low flying' technique, weight and gravity management, and the integration of spirals in movement—will then be applied more practically in the Contact Improvisation sessions. This approach allows us to transition from individual exploration to a collective organism, where the focus shifts to shared movement, mutual support, and connection within a group dynamic.
